The Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities serves 3-5 year olds who meet the eligibility criteria for special education services.
The ultimate goal of PPCD is to provide preschoolers with disabilities with a child-centered, risk free, positive environment in which they can grow and develop with the same advantages as their typically developed peers, while receiving the support they need to be successful. In PPCD, we use a developmentally appropriate curriculum emphasizing language, which allows the children to be involved, using hands-on experiences and activities while interacitng with their environment.
